Accounts Payable Specialist

As a result HYTORC has become the most trusted name in industrial bolting systems.General Purpose To perform the accounts payable function in a fast-paced international business department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities   ·       Posting of purchase invoices for various companies in various currencies·       Supplier statement reconciliation and follow-up.·       Raising all payments on the online banking system ·       Raising remittances ·       Full responsibility for certain month end tasks·       Responding to all accounts-related supplier queries.·       Completion of tasks given by Finance Manager or UK Manager e.g. cost reviews.·       Responsibility for petty cash for two sites·       Filing, on a daily basis.·       Bank postings and reconciliations·       Supplier documentation completion.·       Assistance in the holiday cover of the Accounts Receivable position.·       Assistance with incoming accounts phone calls. Supervisory Responsibilities N/AEducation/Experience Required Grade C / 4 at GCSE Maths and English. Accounting qualification attained and at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Computer Skills Necessary Proficient in use of MS office packages, with advanced knowledge of Excel expected. Also needs to have prior experience of using an accounts package to produce accounts, such as ‘Opera’.
