Accounts Payable Clerk

My client, an extremely successful and forward-thinking business based in Newcastle are recruiting due to continued growth of the organisation. They are looking to recruit a diligent Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis. As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the full end to end of the Purchase Ledger process including invoice processing, payment runs and reconciliations as well as other ad-hoc responsibilities Key Responsibilities Include: Processing a high volume of invoices Ensure invoices are coded correctly Allocating payments to invoices Matching supplier statements Weekly payment runs Reconciliations Query resolution Other ad-hoc financial duties Key Skills/Experience Required: Minimum 6 months experience within an AP function Experience with system is advantageous High attention to detail Able to work well under pressure This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well established and thriving business that offers a good salary and benefits package as well as internal development opportunities
