Accounts Assistant // Manufacturing Company// Blackburn area // £22-24,000You could be just the right applicant for this job - read all associated information and make sure to apply.Are you an ambitious AAT studier who is keen to progress?This successful manufacturing firm in the Blackburn area is looking to add to the finance team due to their continued success.This role is ideal for an AAT studier who had sound transactional experience and is looking to become more involved in Management Accounts and ultimately move on to studying CIMA / ACCA.Duties:* Purchase Ledger - supporting the purchase ledger function to ensure purchase invoices are processed , statement reconciliations, query resolution* Sales Ledger - supporting the sales ledger function to ensure all jobs are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner * Bank reconciliations* Petty cash* Expenses and credit cards - supporting this function to ensure all expenses and credit cards are signed off and posted * Payroll - collation of timesheets, populating the system with hours worked, and other information, ensuring payroll information is completed and sent off to meet monthly to set deadlines * Journals, prepayments and Accruals* Assisting with month end tasks - responsibilities to grow with experience* Ad hoc reportsExperience and Skills:AAT studier ideall or graduate who has commenced CIMASome experience working within a busy finance team - essentialStrong systems and excel skillsOrganised with excellent attention to detail whilst mainiting a busy workloadA desire to progressAn adaptable, hands-on, team focused approachedIf this sounds like you and you with to join a business that will invest in your development and offers great benefits such as 23 days holiday , 3.30 Friday finish, please send your cv.
