Your new companyYou will work for a leading organisation based in Derry City Centre who have been assisting the community for the past 30 years. This voluntary sector organisation provide daily support to people throughout Northern Ireland.Your new roleAs Accounting Technician you will report to the Head of Finance in an established team. Your responsibilities will include: processing of rental income; processing payments to landlords ; monthly balance check; income reconciliation; bank reconciliations; monthly management accounts; Vat returns and online banking. What you'll need to succeed Minimum of five GCSE's at grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language Accounting Technician qualification desirable Proven track record of at least 2 years experience working within Finance Sound knowledge of best practice in management of rental income and payments of same to landlords Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly able to work with the public, & ability to write accurate & clear correspondence, emails & reports Proficient in use of Accounts Packages and online Business Banking Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
