If you are as determined as we are to end poverty and injustice across the world, work with us to make change happen.About the roleYou will work as part of the Finance Team based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and will be required to:record income and expenditure in the finance systems, in an accurate and timely manner;process payments to suppliers, staff salaries and expenses;perform month end reconciliations for appropriate control accounts (including bank reconciliations) & follow up to clear any reconciling items;liaise with external payroll provider, posting all payroll related journals and be the point of contact for all payroll queries in the Belfast Office.For a full list of duties please see the Role Profile.About youApplied skills/knowledge and expertise Essential· Qualified Accounting Technician or part-qualified accountant (at qualified accounting technician level or higher)· Demonstrable Payroll Experience within the last 5 years· Demonstrable experience of processing income and expenditure transactions, and journals on computerised accounting system· Demonstrable experience of preparing control account reconciliations (For example reconciliations any of the of the following: bank, debtors, creditors or intercompany)· Experience of using basic functions of Microsoft Excel· Excellent communication skills· Ability to work under pressureDesirable· Charity Experience· Experience in using any of our financial systems (such as SUN, Proactis or Ascent)Further informationThis role requires applicants to have the right to work in the country where this position is based.All successful candidates will require either and Enhance  or Basic Disclosure Barring Service certificate (DBS) as part of your clearance for commencing your role with us.
